CM to participate in “Indiramma Panduga”in district: Ponguleti

State Housing, Revenue and Information & Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy has announced that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will participate in the “Indiramma Panduga” to be held on June 2 in the district. On Wednesday, the Minister, along with District In-charge and Excise, Tourism & Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, MLC Dande Vithal, District Collector K. Haritha, Mancherial MLA Kokkiram Prem Sagar Rao, Bellampalli MLA Gaddam Vinod and other officials, inspected the venues where the Chief Minister is scheduled to visit.

The team also visited newly constructed Indiramma houses and interacted with the beneficiaries. Speaking on the occasion, Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy stated that the state government is giving top priority to public welfare and providing housing for the poor. He said the Indiramma Housing Scheme has provided shelter to thousands of homeless people, with special focus on improving the lives of tribals and Adivasis. He added that the Indiramma houses constructed in Kothari village have brought new hope into the lives of tribal families.

The Minister revealed that on June 2, coinciding with Telangana Formation Day, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will visit three villages in the district as part of the Indiramma Housing Festival. He highlighted that the government is standing firmly behind women through schemes like Mahalakshmi, Gruha Jyothi, Indira Mahila Shakti, ration cards and Rajiv Aarogyasri. He further stated that the government is taking special measures to strengthen education and healthcare sectors by providing quality education in government schools and better medical services in hospitals.

The Minister also assured that in the second phase of the Indiramma Housing Scheme, every eligible poor family will be allotted a house. Later, at the Integrated Collectorate in the district headquarters, Ministers distributed accreditation cards to eligible print and electronic media journalists for the years 2026-28.
