‘Clean energy to play key role in climate change’

Clean energy technologies will play a crucial role in addressing climate change and achieving sustainable development at the global level, said Dr. Lavu Rathaiah, Chairman of Vignan’s Institutions. Dr. Rathaiah unveiled the brochure of a three-day national conference titled “Harnessing Clean Energy Technologies to Drive Sustainability and Combat Climate Change Worldwide”, which is being organised by the Department of Biotechnology, Vignan’s University, at Deshmukhi, Bhoodan Pochampally Mandal, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District, from September 10 to 12.

Dr. Lavu Rathaiah emphasised the need to find solutions to the growing environmental challenges across the world through indigenous technologies.  The key objectives of the program are to promote the publication of research papers in regional languages and strengthen collaboration between industries and educational institutions. Faculty members and researchers from AICTE-approved institutions can register for the conference free of cost until September 8.
