Terming the P4 as a mission that comes to the rescue of the poor, the Chief Minister, Mr Chandababu Naidu, on Sunday expressed confidence that this programme will be a game changer in society.
P4 is an extraordinary scheme and that a programme will create history has been launched, the Chief Minister said embarking on the programme in Amaravati. Mr Chandrababu along with the Deputy Chief Minister, Mr Pawan Kalyan, unveiled a logo.
Later addressing the massive gathering, the Chief Minister said that any programme that is taken up on Ugadi day will certainly become a resounding success and thus the P4 which is aimed at poverty alleviation has been taken up on this occasion. "We are in the Government along with Pawan Kalyan who always thinks about the future of the State and with the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, whose aim is to take India to the top in the world," he said.
Stating the country is fortunate enough to have a right person as the Prime Minister at a right time, Chandrababu said that he never boasts himself "but telling the public today. For the first time I became MLA in 1978 and in another three years I will be completing 50 years as MLA. My entire life is dedicated to you who have been supporting me for the past five decades. I have become MLA for nine times of which four times as the Chief Minister. For 15 years as Leader of the Opposition and 30 years as party president. The respect that I got no one else in the country has, which is bestowed to me by the people of the State. When I watch my progressive journey my heart overflows with joy," Mr Chandrababu told the gathering.
"I have introduced Prajala Vaddaku Palana, Janma Bhoomi and the IT revolution. I do not know anything else except work and do not have any kind of habits. Soon after getting up from the bed I always think about what kind of programmes will bring total transformation in the lives of the people," he said.
Appreciating the businessmen who took part in the programme on Sunday, the Chief Minister made it clear that P4 is being launched only with the sole objective of alleviating poverty. Recalling that Swarnandhra-2047 has been formulated and the per capita income during the last fiscal was Rs 2,66,995 while this year it is Rs 2,98,065 which will go up to Rs 5,42,985 by 2028-29, Chandrababu expressed confidence that by 2047 it will reach Rs 55 lakh.
For realizing all this there should be a change among the mindset of the people too. By 2047 India will be on top, the Chief Minister said and that his aspiration is that the Telugu community should reach the highest position. Welfare programmes should be extended to the people and wealth should be created to increase the revenue, he said.
The Chief Minister said that the increased revenue should be distributed among the people and should be spent for development. No plan that has been designed by him failed till now, Mr Chandrababu Naidu said and told the public that the progress rep[ort on P4 will be presented before them by the next Ugadi.
