Plantation of saplings, blood donation camps, fruit distributions, and community feasts across the State marked the 71st birthday celebrations of former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday. BRS working president KT Rama Rao, former Minister T Harish Rao, and opposition leader in Council S Madhusudhana Chari cut a massive 71 kg cake at Telangana Bhavan.

As part of the celebrations, a special documentary on Chandrashekhar Rao’s life and political journey was screened, and cultural programs were organized. The event saw participation from MPs, MLAs, former Ministers, corporators, and activists.

The BRS cadre and the public celebrated the 71st birthday of party president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Monday with grand festivities across the State and abroad. Party leaders, workers, and supporters gathered in large numbers to mark the occasion with cultural programs, social service activities, and special prayers for the well-being of the former Chief Minister.

In his speech, Rama Rao emphasized the need for KCR to become the chief minister once again. "People want KCR to become the chief minister once again. Let us work hard to make him the chief minister once again," he urged the party leaders and workers.

Rama Rao praised KCR as a hero for Telangana, recalling the challenges he faced during the movement for statehood. "When he was running the movement, there was no media or support. He braved all odds to carry forward the movement. He even risked his life to achieve Telangana state," Rama Rao said. Social service programs were carried out on a large scale, including the plantation of saplings, blood donation camps, fruit distributions, and community feasts across the State. The celebrations showcased the party's dedication to social welfare and community service in honor of K Chandrashekhar Rao.
