Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has committed to ensuring the job recruitment schedule aligns with the rising demand for electricity. Leaders from the Telangana Electricity Assistant Engineers Association (TEAEA) called on the Deputy Chief Minister at Praja Bhavan on Sunday.
During the interaction, they expressed their gratitude to Bhatti Vikramarka for the government's initiative to establish a new 800 MW power plant in Ramagundam, which will be fully owned by GENCO. They also brought to the Deputy Chief Minister's attention the concerns surrounding posting orders for the AE to ADE promotions that were announced in October 2024 within GENCO, as well as matters related to appointments and promotions in TSTransco and DISCOM companies. In response to the Assistant Engineers' concerns, Bhatti Vikramarka assured them that a decision regarding the recent promotions would be made soon, and the relevant orders would be issued shortly.
He directed that all electricity employees should work hard to ensure that the people of Telangana do not experience any power disruption, and that a job in an electricity company is a service-oriented job.
