Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust (BYST) has entered into a Letter of Intent (LoI) with the Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation (APMSMEDC) to launch an Entrepreneurship Training & Mentoring Programme (ETMP) in Andhra Pradesh.

The LoI was exchanged on the sidelines of the ‘One Family-One Entrepreneur MSME Growth Summit 2026’ held at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Kala Vedika, Vijayawada. The initiative is aimed at empowering nano and micro enterprises through structured training, mentoring, digital learning and ecosystem-building interventions across the state.

Marking a significant step towards strengthening entrepreneurship-led economic growth in Andhra Pradesh, the LoI exchange took place in the presence of senior government officials, industry leaders and key stakeholders from the entrepreneurship ecosystem. The LoI was ceremonially presented by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu during the summit. Through this collaboration, BYST will leverage its proven expertise in entrepreneurship development, mentoring support and enterprise handholding to strengthen the MSME landscape in the state.

The program aims to support up to 10,000 nano and micro entrepreneurs, while also building a network of 4,000 trained mentors who can provide long-term guidance and mentorship support. Speaking on the collaboration, Lakshmi Venkataraman Venkatesan, Founding and Managing Trustee, BYST stated that by combining structured training, mentoring, market access and institutional support, the trust aims to empower young entrepreneurs, especially women and underserved communities with the confidence, networks and opportunities they need to build sustainable businesses, create jobs and strengthen local economies.

The partnership also seeks to strengthen market linkages, industry connect platforms and institutional partnerships to drive enterprise growth, while promoting digital enablement, financial literacy and sustainability practices. APMSMEDC will complement BYST’s efforts by facilitating stakeholder convergence, inter-departmental coordination and mobilization support through relevant institutional mechanisms.

The collaboration builds on the Memorandum of Understanding signed between BYST and APMSMEDC in March 2026 to strengthen entrepreneurship development and foster a more inclusive environment for MSMEs in Andhra Pradesh through mentoring, training, access to finance and enterprise support under the State’s ‘One Family-One Entrepreneur’ vision.
