In a break from legislative debates, Andhra Pradesh MLAs and MLCs will participate in a three-day sports meet starting Tuesday at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium. Held after Assembly sessions, the event promotes fitness and camaraderie across party lines.

Competitions include cricket, chess, carroms and tennis, with participants receiving government-sponsored sports kits. Cricket will be the main attraction, with teams led by Nara Lokesh and Nadendla Manohar. A third team may be captained by Pawan Kalyan. The meet offers lawmakers a rare informal platform beyond politics.
