Hyderabad | July 2026: Aaahara, the consumer brand of Infini Agrotek LLP, is marking a significant milestone in India's value-added agri-food exports with the successful shipment of its botanical-infused, preservative-free, ready-to-cook millet functional foods to New Zealand through APEDA's facilitation of the first-ever sea shipment of botanical-infused ready-to-cook millet functional foods.
Facilitated by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), the milestone represents an important step in taking innovative, value-added Indian food products to international markets while creating new opportunities for millet growers, food processors and exporters across the value chain. The export milestone builds on Aaahara's sustained international engagement.
The company participated in India's business delegation to New Zealand led by Hon'ble Commerce & Industry Minister Shri Piyush Goyal, where CEO Suresh Bafna explored opportunities to strengthen bilateral trade and expand the global presence of innovative Indian food products. The company also benefited from its participation in APEDA's BHARATI cohort and trade promotion initiatives, including World Food India 2025, Indus Food 2025 and Gulfood 2026, which helped establish relationships with international buyers and opened new export opportunities.
Speaking on the achievement, Mr. Suresh Bafna, CEO, Aaahara (Infini Agrotek LLP), said, "This milestone demonstrates that Indian food innovation can successfully compete in global markets while staying rooted in our traditional food wisdom. We are grateful to APEDA for enabling Indian companies like ours to access international markets through its export promotion initiatives. As global demand for healthy, sustainable and functional foods continues to grow, we remain committed to creating value-added millet products that generate greater opportunities for farmers, strengthen India's agri-export ecosystem and bring the nutritional benefits of Shree Anna to consumers worldwide."
Today, Aaahara has established a presence across more than 22,000+ retail stores in South India, along with a growing presence across HoReCa channels and leading e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms, including Amazon, Flipkart and Swiggy Instamart. Building on this export milestone, the company aims to deepen collaborations with Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), strengthen farmer linkages and continue developing innovative value-added products that showcase India's agricultural strengths, food innovation capabilities and rich culinary heritage to consumers around the world.
