Wadi Surgicals partners with Hubertus to launch new gloves brand

Wadi Surgicals Pvt Ltd, owner of the Enliva®️ nitrile glove brand, has partnered with Hubertus Medical Products Pvt. Ltd, Andhra Pradesh to launch Enliva Active™️, a black, food-safe nitrile glove developed specifically for the HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants and Catering) sector. Enliva Active is being introduced as a ‘Made-in-India’ alternative for restaurants, hotels, catering companies, food preparation and food handling environments.

The black colour provides a practical advantage in food handling, offering clear visual contrast against food and helping identify glove fragments in the event of accidental tearing. Production of Enliva Active has commenced at approximately 7.2 crore gloves annually, with plans to scale production to approximately 12 crore gloves per year in line with growing demand. Wadi Surgicals also plans to develop export markets for the product.

Ltd mentioned that Enliva Active represents an important step because the firm is creating a ‘Made-in-India’ product specifically for the HoReCa industry. “Our partnership with Hubertus Medical Products brings together Indian capabilities to address this opportunity and build a product for India and, eventually, global markets, ” he mentioned.
