Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee  (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud has accused individuals associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) of orchestrating the NEET exam paper leak for personal financial benefit.

He emphasised that this incident has placed the futures of approximately 22 lakh students in jeopardy, devaluing their diligent efforts and the sacrifices made by their parents. Speaking at the "Chhatron Ki Goonj" student event in Narayanaguda, Hyderabad, on Thursday, where he was the chief guest under the chairmanship of DCC President Mota Rohit, Mahesh Kumar Goud expressed dismay at the lack of response from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan regarding the NEET irregularities. He asserted that this silence erodes the confidence of students and parents in the educational framework.

He underscored the critical need for transparency and accountability in examination processes, stating that governments have a fundamental duty to protect students' futures. The TPCC chief urged the Central government to acknowledge and honour the aspirations of the nation's young people.

Mahesh Kumar Goud further highlighted the Congress party's consistent commitment to providing avenues for young people to voice their opinions.
