Under the leadership of Y. Nagireddy, VC & MD of Telangana RTC, the medical services offered at the RTC Hospital in Tarnaka have seen a significant enhancement.
This advancement was made possible by a generous donation from ‘Can Fin Homes’, a subsidiary of Canara Bank, as part of their corporate social responsibility efforts.
The bank provided a sophisticated ‘Mobile Digital Portable X-ray’ machine, valued at Rs 20 lakhs, to the hospital.
The inauguration ceremony, held on Friday, was led by Guda Lakshman, Canara Bank’s Telangana Zonal Head, and N. Sailaja Murthy, the Hospital Superintendent & CMO. They officially launched the new equipment by cutting a ribbon.
During the event, Hospital Superintendent and CMO Sailaja Murthy expressed her appreciation for banking institutions that actively contribute to social welfare through their support.
She highlighted that the new mobile digital portable X-ray machine will significantly improve patient care by allowing X-rays to be performed directly at the patient's bedside within the hospital wards, leading to quicker diagnoses and treatment.
Guda Laxman, Zonal Head of Canara Bank (Telangana), commended the dedication of the Superintendent and staff at Tarnaka Hospital, under Nagireddy’s guidance, in their pursuit of delivering high-quality medical services to RTC employees. He reiterated Canara Bank's consistent commitment to social service initiatives.
The programme was attended by P. Srinivas, Hospital Medical Administrator, Canara Bank Managers T.T. Achyutanandam and Ashok Gautam, along with numerous doctors and bank employees.
