Prasadam distribution program organized by IIMC College

A Prasadam distribution program for devotees was organized on Friday on the occasion of Vinayaka Nimajjanam under the auspices of NSS Unit 1 & 2 and NCC of the Indian Institute of Management and Commerce (Autonomous) College, Lakdikapool, in joint collaboration with Vasavi Seva Kendram, IIMC College, Vasavi Club Hyderabad, Hyderabad District Arya Vaishya Mahasabha, Sri Kashi Rameswaram Arya Vaishya Vasavi Nityanna Satram Trust, Hyderabad Vaishya Youth Association and Telangana AVOPA.

The organizers mentioned that there is no greater service than offering food to devotees who come with devotion and that is why they have been organizing this program for the past few years. The College Principal and NCC & NSS Chairman Koora Raghuveer informed that the aim of this program is to do Annadanam for lakhs of devotees on the occasion of Khairatabad Ganesh Nimajjanam and to inculcate the spirit of service among students.

Stating that "God is in human form - God resides in the hands that serve," NSS Program Officers E. Ramakrishna, M. Satyanarayana and NCC Officer Vasanth said that by participating in such programs through NSS, students develop a service-oriented attitude.
