Ranveer Singh’s spokesperson breaks silence after FWICE ban amid Don 3 exit controversy
There has been an ongoing dispute between Farhan Akhtar and Ranveer Singh amid the actor’s exit from Don 3. After Farhan reportedly took the legal route, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) imposed a non-cooperation directive against Ranveer. Amid the controversy, the actor’s official spokesperson released a statement, saying that Ranveer has consciously chosen to remain silent.
The spokesperson said, “Ranveer Singh holds the highest regard for the film fraternity and for everyone associated with the Don franchise. Throughout the recent developments surrounding Don 3, he has consciously chosen to maintain silence, believing that professional discussions and personal equations are best handled with dignity, maturity and mutual respect.”
The statement further added that despite several narratives and speculations circulating around the controversy, Ranveer “never considered it necessary to respond publicly or contribute to conjecture.” The spokesperson added, “His focus remains firmly on his work and the commitments ahead.”
Ranveer’s team also stated, “He continues to hold deep respect and goodwill for all those involved and sincerely wishes the franchise continued success.” The spokesperson claimed that the actor would continue to maintain silence on the matter. “Choosing restraint and grace in moments like these has always been a conscious decision on his part, and he will continue to maintain the same stance,” the statement concluded.
Ranveer offers prayers at Chamundeshwari Temple
Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, who is facing a boycott from FWICE, offered prayers at the Chamundeshwari Temple after receiving direction from the Karnataka High Court in the Kantara mimicry case. In April, Ranveer had submitted a revised affidavit in the matter, along with an unconditional apology. The court ordered the Dhurandhar actor to offer prayers at the Chamundeshwari Temple within four weeks.
