Minister Ramanaidu campaigned in Palakollu on Sunday seeking the victory of Perabathula Rajasekharam, the NDA candidate of the Graduates' MLC of the two Godavari districts. He appealed to the graduates to give a clear majority to the NDA alliance in the Legislative Council. Speaking to the media on the occasion, Minister Ramanaidu criticized Jagan for deceiving and deceiving the unemployed in the name of job calendar and mega DSC every January. He recalled how during the YCP regime, teachers were put on duty near liquor shops.
He said that the state government is working towards creating 20 lakh jobs in the next five years. He recalled that as soon as Chandrababu came to power, he had signed the first DSC(recruitment of government school teachers) to fill up 16,000 teacher posts. He assured that as soon as the MLC elections are over, education Minister Nara Lokesh would release the DSC notification and promised to complete the recruitment of teacher posts before the next academic year.
The Minister also announced that Rs 20,000 will be given to fishermen in case of their death from April on days when fishing is prohibited in the sea. He further assured that the government is going to implement “Annadata Sukhibhava” scheme for giving Rs 20,000 per acre to farmers from May and the the 'Thalliki Vandanam' programme(Rs 15,000 for the mother of every school going child) from before the academic year of June.
