In a unique show of hands on monitoring, Telangana Minister for Excise, Tourism and Culture and Adilabad district in charge Minister Jupally Krishna Rao travelled by Vande Bharat Express from Secunderabad to Kagaznagar on Sunday to personally oversee arrangements for Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy's visit to Kumram Bheem Asifabad district on Monday.

The Minister reached Kagaznagar in the evening after boarding the Vande Bharat train from Secunderabad. During the journey, he interacted with fellow passengers and had lunch onboard before proceeding to review preparations for the Chief Minister's programme.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is scheduled to visit Kothaguda, where he will participate in a mass housewarming ceremony with beneficiaries of the first phase of the prestigious Indiramma Housing Scheme. Later, he will address a large public meeting at Kagaznagar X Road and formally launch the second phase of the programme.

Jupally Krishna Rao is supervising the arrangements being made by the district administration. He is expected to inspect the public meeting venue, parking facilities, helipad, stage arrangements and other infrastructure before holding a review meeting with district officials.

The Indiramma Housing Scheme, one of the State government's flagship welfare initiatives, aims to provide dignified housing to poor families. Construction of 4.5 lakh houses sanctioned under the first phase is progressing rapidly across Telangana, with many beneficiaries now ready for housewarming ceremonies.
