August 16, 2026: Marking India's 80th Independence, Jawa, Yezdi and BSA riders participated in rides across the country under the Nomads banner. The initiative celebrated the spirit of freedom that lies at the heart of motorcycling. The Independence Day ride brought together over 2,000 riders through 150 dealerships, representing diverse backgrounds, age groups and riding styles. This initiative reflected the spirit of camaraderie and shared passion that continues to connect riders across the Jawa, Yezdi and BSA Kommuniti.

Nomads serve as a shared identity for Jawa, Yezdi and BSA riders, transcending brands, regions and generations. Built by riders and shaped by shared experiences, it embodies the inclusiveness and joy of riding with one's tribe.Recently, Classic Legends partnered with the Indian Armed Forces for the Shaurya Vijay Yatra, paying tribute to the courage, service and sacrifice of the Indian soldiers. The Independence Day ride echoed that same spirit of national pride, offering riders an opportunity to celebrate the freedom that define both the nation and motorcycling.

Anupam Thareja, Co-founder, Classic Legends, said, "At the heart of motorcycling lies the freedom to choose your own road and the joy of sharing that journey with others. Independence Day is a reminder of the values that make freedom possible and the sacrifices that continue to protect it. Just last month, on Kargil Vijay Diwas, we had the opportunity to honour the courage, service and sacrifice of our soldiers.

Today, through Nomads, riders from different regions and generations came together to celebrate the same spirit of freedom that is embodied by our armed forces."As Nomads Kommuniti continues to grow, rides and initiatives such as these will further strengthen the bonds between Jawa, Yezdi and BSA riders across the country, fostering deeper connections through a shared passion for motorcycling.
