Governor, CM extend Telangana Formation Day greetings

Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday greeted the people of Telangana on State Formation Day. In a post on X, Nazeer described Telangana as a land of rich cultural heritage and progress, wishing the state continued prosperity and development.

Naidu said that though Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were formed as separate states, the Telugu community would always remain united. He stressed that both states should compete in development while preserving Telugu culture and heritage. The Chief Minister said Hyderabad and Amaravati should emerge among the world’s best cities and called for joint efforts towards Viksit Bharat 2047.

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said Telangana’s formation reflected decades of struggle, self-respect and sacrifice.
