Mumbai , August 25 :
Escorts Kubota Limited has introduced two new tractor models, the Kubota MU4502 at 45 horsepower (HP) and the Kubota MU5002 at 50 HP. They strengthen the company’s premium utility tractor portfolio in the 41–50 HP category, one of the largest and fastest-growing segments in the Indian tractor market. Both models carry an industry-first 8 Year transferable warranty, reflecting the company’s high confidence in the build quality and working life of these products.
Both tractors are powered by the proven Kubota KQP4 Japanese engine. They are equipped with an advanced 12F + 4R Multi-Speed Synchromesh Gearbox that lets farmers pick the ideal speed for every job, from heavy tillage to haulage, so they can work faster, cover more ground and finish operations in less time. Pompa Lift with DSS (Dual Stabilizer Spring) Technology keeps implements steady and maintains a consistent working depth even on uneven ground, giving more uniform results.
Escorts Kubota operates three tractor brands in India, Farmtrac, Powertrac and Kubota, catering to entry-premium, value and premium segments respectively. The new MU4502 and MU5002 sit within the premium Kubota brand. With these two additions, the MU range now includes the MU4201, MU4501, MU4502, MU5002 and MU5502, offering farmers a comprehensive premium utility portfolio.
The new MU4502 and MU5002 have been engineered for modern Indian farmers looking for higher productivity, comfort and multi-application performance. The tractors feature Kubota’s global design, inspired by the strength and agility of a bull, with full LED lighting for better visibility and a premium appearance. The fully covered flat-deck platform, premium bucket seat, suspended pedals, double-acting power steering and ergonomically placed controls keep operators comfortable through long working hours, and balancer shaft technology keeps vibration down.
As a true multi-utility platform, the new models work with almost all primary and secondary tillage and farming implements, including super seeders, seed drills, potato planters, mini round balers and cultivators. The tractors handle major crops such as paddy, wheat, maize, pulses and soyabean, and take on haulage and commercial tasks as well. A reverse power take-off (PTO) supports specialised applications such as rotavators and straw reapers. Both models suit landholdings of 5 acres and above, and Escorts Kubota has launched them as a pan-India offering.
