Two Veers in tinsel town are carving out their path, slowly but steadily

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt’s next presentation is Naam - To Live is War, starring Veer Pahariya and Varun Sharma for Sidhaant Sachdev’s action thriller. While the film’s name draws inspiration from Bhatt’s blockbuster Naam’ (1986), the similarities end there, Naam - To Live is War is not a remake, and the leading lady is yet to be unveiled.

On the other hand there’s the other ‘Vir’ Hirani, director Rajkumar Hirani’s son, who is all set to star in Pritam & Pedro, who’s trailer was revealed on Monday. Set in the lively backdrop of Goa, the story is about two very different worlds coming together under unusual circumstances. At the center are Pedro, an old-school cop who relies on instinct, and Pritam, a smart young tech expert. Created by Rajkumar Hirani and directed by filmmaker Avinash Arun, apart from Vir, the series stars Arshad Warsi, Vikrant Massey, Mona Singh, and Boman Irani.  The series will premiere on July 3 on JioHotstar.
