‘Complaints to be responded to promptly’

Police Commissioner of Warangal Sunpreet Singh has instructed officers to respond promptly to complaints filed by victims. The directive was issued during an annual inspection of Chilpur Police Station under the West Zone on Thursday. The Commissioner inspected the station premises and interacted with staff at the reception, IT section and other personnel to assess their performance. During the visit, he thoroughly reviewed key records, including station maintenance logs, rowdy sheets, suspect profiles and the status of pending cases. He also personally inquired with station staff about any issues or challenges they were facing.

Addressing the officers and personnel at the end of the inspection, the Police Commissioner emphasized several key priorities such as constables regularly visiting villages under their jurisdiction, educating every villager on the importance of following traffic rules, proactive measures to be taken to prevent road accidents, taking strict action against those involved in illegal sand transportation, etc. 

The Commissioner Sunpreet Singh later offered prayers at Sri Bugulu Venkateshwara Swamy temple at Chilpur. The pujaris conducted special pujas and explained him the significance of the temple.
