Mahabubabad District Collector Sneha Sabarish conducted a review meeting at the Kesamudram Tahsildar office on the issuance of pattadar passbooks in Narayanapuram revenue village. The review focused on land records verification and ensuring timely distribution of passbooks to eligible farmers.

During the meeting, officials pointed out that in some cases, the father’s name was still recorded as the pattadar, while the son is currently in actual possession and cultivating the land. The Collector directed that in such cases, pattadar passbooks should be issued in the name of the rightful cultivator who is actively working on the land. Following her instructions, the tahsildar office has begun scrutinizing such cases and taking steps to update records in favour of eligible persons.

She also instructed that in cases involving deceased pattadars, passbooks should not remain in the name of the deceased. Instead, they should be issued to legal heirs or those currently in possession and cultivating the land as per law. The Collector directed revenue officials to ensure that all eligible farmers receive their pattadar passbooks at the earliest, strictly following government norms and procedures.
