BJP launches 15 day state wide protest

The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced a 15-day agitation across Telangana against the state government, party state president N. Ramchander Rao said on Saturday. Releasing a poster highlighting alleged “Congress failures”, Rao said the protest campaign would begin immediately and include demonstrations across the state. 

As part of the first phase, BJP workers will stage protests at mandal offices on March 16 and submit memorandums to local authorities. On March 20, demonstrations will be organized in front of District Collector offices in all district headquarters. Rao said the movement aims to highlight public issues and pressure the Congress government to address the concerns of people in Telangana. 

He appealed to the public to support the party’s campaign, stating that the BJP would continue to fight for the rights and welfare of citizens. Additional protest programs scheduled for March 19 and 20 will be announced shortly, he added.
