Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy declared that “Young India is my brand”, asserting that the comprehensive educational and employment-oriented initiatives being implemented under the Young India banner are part of his distinct identity as Chief Minister. Drawing inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi, who originally used Young India as the title of his journal during the freedom struggle, Reddy emphasized that the brand reflects a renewed vision for youth empowerment in Telangana.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Young India Police School in Manchirevula, Narsingi, on the outskirts of Hyderabad, the Chief Minister said, “Every prominent leader is remembered for their legacy—NT Rama Rao for the Rs 2/kg rice scheme, Chandrababu Naidu for IT growth, YS Rajasekhara Reddy for being pro-farmer. Today, I proudly say that 'Young India' is my brand, aimed at empowering youth through quality education, skills, and sports development.”

Revanth highlighted that the Young India ecosystem includes Skills University, Sports University, and Integrated Residential Schools, each aimed at addressing specific gaps in the education and employment sectors. He stated that renowned Industrialist Anand Mahindra has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Young India Skills University, which guarantees job security for enrolled students. He also announced plans to promote it as one of the best vocational training universities in India.

The CM revealed that Young India Sports University and Sports Academies are also in the pipeline, with the goal of preparing athletes to compete and win medals in future Olympic Games. Highlighting the importance of equitable access to quality education, he said Young India Integrated Residential Schools are being established in every Assembly constituency, each with an allocation of Rs 200 crore.

Regarding the police school, CM Reddy announced the creation of Rs 100 crore Corpus fund for its development and encouraged corporate support through CSR initiatives. He emphasized that the school would be developed to compete with the noted Sainik Schools and serve as a model institution for children of police personnel. “Education and employment are the foundations of a strong future. Through Young India, we are building that future today,” CM stressed.
