Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to ensure a complete transformation in the services and facilities provided by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). Stressing that every initiative should prioritize devotee satisfaction and temple sanctity during a review meeting at the State Secretariat here on Wednesday.

During the meeting, TTD officials presented a detailed report on the reforms introduced over the past nine months, focusing on improvements in darshan procedures, accommodation, and other services. The CM reviewed preparations for major temple festivals such as Brahmotsavams, Ratha Saptami, and Vaikuntha Ekadashi, and their impact on devotee experience.

No unnecessary projects should be approved without assessing long-term impact and an internal audit and a CAG audit will be conducted to ensure financial transparency,”said the Chief Minister. CM Naidu reminded officials that TTD administrators are merely custodians of temple funds, and under no circumstances should they divert or misuse donations made by devotees.

As part of the TTD overhaul, CM Naidu announced that the government would soon appoint a new JEO (Joint Executive Officer), CVSO (Chief Vigilance and Security Officer), SVBC (Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel) Chairman, and BIRRD (Balaji Institute of Surgery, Research, and Rehabilitation for the Disabled) Director.
