In a joint operation, Narayanguda Police and East Zone commissioner Task force team arrested a notorious criminals hails from Bihar, who was involved in murder for gain case and burglary case in Domalguda and Narayanguda PS limits and recovered items worth Rs 3 Crore. Arrested persons have been identified as (A-1) Molhu Mukhiya (35), (A-2) Susheel Mukhiya (29), native of Bihar and (A-3) Basanthi Arhi (40), native of Kolkata, West Bengal.
Accused Molhu Mukhiya was absconding in murder for gain case under the limits of Domalguda PS in the month of January 2024. The offenders burgled the house in the intervening night of February 10 and 11 in the limits of Narayanguda and stolen away diamond, gold, silver, cash and foreign currency of different countries all worth about more than Rs 2 Crore.
The offenders select the houses of rich people especially the Marwadi and Jain community and join as maid servants, cook and security guards after gaining confidence by the house owner they plan and they burgled the house and escape with the booty to their native villages in Bihar state. Prime accused Molhu Mukhiya was also involved in some property offences in Delhi and went to jail and NBWs are pending against him.
On February 12, a case was registered on the complaint of Abhay Kedia who is an employee of Rohit Kedia reported that his master Rohit Kedia and his family members went to Dubai to celebrate his daughter's wedding ceremony. In his absence, some unknown offenders gained entry into the house and ransacked the almirahs, lockers and stole away diamond, gold, silver, net cash of Rs 20 lakhs and other foreign currency all worth Rs 2 Crores. He also reported that the exact property lost will be furnished after the arrival of Rohit Kedia.
The police arrested all the offenders and they were thoroughly interrogated and recovered the stolen booty from their possession. The current value of the recovered property is worth about 3 Crores, said Police.
