The Andhra Pradesh Government is tightening the law and order situation in the state. The Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that there will be no tolerance for disruptions to law and order in the state and asserted that his political career had remained free from any involvement in murder politics and assured that those who engaged in political crimes would be held accountable.
Speaking in the legislative assembly he said that the introduction of the ’Shakti App’ will ensure women's safety. He also said that the implementation of the ‘Eagle’ system will go a long way in combating illegal drug trade.
Naidu warned that anyone involved in land encroachments would face severe consequences under the new legislation. The government will deploy drone patrols at night and install CCTV cameras in vulnerable areas. Additionally, 26 cyber security stations will be established to enhance surveillance and swiftly apprehend criminals.
Addressing the sensational murder case of Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, Naidu expressed deep concern over the mysterious deaths of six witnesses associated with the case. He recalled that in 2019, initial reports claimed Reddy died of a heart attack, but his daughter insisted on a post-mortem, which revealed the truth.
