Indian Institute of Management and Commerce (IIMC) Degree College concluded the first day of the two-day Multi-Disciplinary Conference on Digital Innovations in Arts, Social Sciences, Research, and Technology, which was held on Thursday (January 9, 2025).

The conference, conducted in an offline mode, brought together renowned academicians, researchers, and students from various disciplines to explore the transformative impact of digital technologies on education, research, and society.

The event was inaugurated by Prof V Viswanatham, Chairman, IIMC, who delivered a keynote address on the role of digital innovations in reshaping academic practices. In his speech, he emphasized the need for educational institutions to adopt digital tools and technologies to remain relevant in a rapidly evolving world.

He stated, "Digital innovations are not just enhancing research methodologies but are also making education more accessible and impactful across diverse fields.” The Chief Guest released the Conference Proceedings with an ISBN.

The Guest of Honour P Purna Chander Rao, Former Principal, IIMC, remarked that this event is a testament to our commitment to fostering meaningful academic dialogues and encouraging the exploration of new frontiers in education and research.

The conference concluded with a valedictory session where certificates were distributed to all participants in recognition of their contributions.
