The investigation by the Justice Ghosh Commission concerning the Medigadda, Annaram, and Sundilla barrages, integral to the Kaleshwaram project, is set to restart on Thursday.
The Commission plans to revisit some individuals who have previously presented testimony. It will also interrogate engineers who were instrumental in the granting of permits and the construction efforts.
To date, the Commission has questioned 109 individuals and has concluded a public inquiry regarding the affidavits provided by engineers, CC designers, O&M engineers, and representatives from the construction agency involved in the project.
Reports indicate that a comprehensive report has been drafted, totaling 400 pages. As the investigation draws to a close, notices have been issued once more, effective from February 27, to engineers, retired CDO CE Surender Reddy, Kaleshwaram Corporation MD Hariram, and others to appear for questioning.
Recently, the State government has extended the Commission’s deadline by an additional two months.
