Strict arrangements are being made for the APPSC Group-2 Main Written Examination to be held on 23rd of this month, said Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand on Thurdsay. He reviewed with the officials along with the Chairman APPSC A. Anuradha in AP Secretariat .Speaking on this occasion, he directed the Collectors and SPs to provide tight security and other arrangements at all the examination centers to ensure that no untoward incident occurs anywhere during the conduct of the examinations.
He said that these examinations will be conducted at 175 examination centers in 13 old district head quarters. He clarified that guidelines have already been sent to the districts on the steps to be taken regarding the conduct of the examinations and they should be followed completely. He said that 92,250 candidates will appear for these examinations and directed the Collectors and SPs to make security arrangements at the examination centers so that the examinations can be conducted smoothly.
Especially regarding the conduct of the exams, CS Vijayanand has made it clear to the Collectors and SPs that if anyone spreads or circulates rumors or fake news anywhere on social media, they should immediately investigate and take strict action against such people. At the same time, he has advised the candidates and their parents not to worry even if anyone spreads fake news or clarifies the rumors. He said that all strict arrangements have already been made to ensure that the exams are conducted smoothly and properly. CS Vijayanand has instructed the Collectors, SPs and APPSC officials to make more strict arrangements in the areas identified as sensitive exam centers.
Earlier, APPSC Chairman A. Anuradha spoke about the arrangements for the Group-2 Main Examination and clarified that the Paper-1 written examination will be held from 10 am to 12.30 pm on the 23rd. Candidates should reach the respective examination centers by 9.30 am. The gates of the examination centers will be closed at 9.45 am and no one who comes late will be allowed to enter. Similarly, the Paper-2 examination will be held from 3 pm to 5.30 pm. Candidates should reach the respective examination centers by 2.30 pm.

She clarified that the conduct of the examinations A booklet with detailed instructions has been sent to all examination centres and all liaison officers, chief superintendents and invigilators have been asked to strictly follow the instructions and ensure that the examinations are conducted smoothly.
The meeting was attended by State Education Secretary K. Shashidhar, Department Commissioner Kritika Shukla, Information Director Himanshu Shukla, APPSC Secretary IN Murthy and other officials, while district collectors, SPs, CPs and officials of other departments participated virtually.
