Family system gives strength to the nation and that power to run the family system lies with the woman in the form of mother, wife and sister, Bhatti Vikramarka said. He further added, “If education is provided to a woman, it will not only benefit her, but also the entire family and the society at large.” He was speaking at the annual celebration of St. Francis Degree College for Women in Begumpet on Friday.
During his address, he remarked that investing in education would contribute to the development of human resources in the State, ultimately positioning Telangana as a global leader. The government is undertaking the construction of Young India Integrated Schools to enhance the education sector and prepare students in Telangana to compete on an international level.
Each school will be built on a land area of 20 to 25 acres, with an investment of Rs 200 crore allocated for each institution. He noted that approvals have already been granted for 60 schools, he said.
"Keeping this in mind, the government has been extending all kinds of cooperation for the development of women. Funds are being allocated specially for women development and measures are being taken to give women ample opportunities in education and employment," Bhatti Vikramarka said.
