Atmeya Kalayika marks 10 Years with grand Sankranti celebration

The 10th annual edition of Atmeya Kalayika, a social and cultural gathering, was celebrated with grandeur on the occasion of Sankranti. The event was hosted by former Samata Party president V.V. Krishna Rao drew participation from political leaders across party lines, retired officials, and social activists.

The highlight of this year’s celebration was the presence of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy as the chief guest. Prominent leaders including MLA Mandali Buddha Prasad,  MLA Gadde Rammohan Rao, CPI leader K. Ramakrishna, and retired IPS officer A.B. Venkateswarlu were among the dignitaries who graced the occasion.

The event served as a platform to reminisce on past achievements in societal development through collective struggles and initiatives that benefited the public. Speaking at the gathering, Krishna Rao emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration in addressing societal challenges.

Chief guest N. Kiran Kumar Reddy lauded the efforts of the Atmeya Kalayika forum in fostering community bonding and social progress. “Events like these remind us of the importance of reflecting on our achievements while charting a course for the future. The struggles and efforts of leaders in the past have laid the foundation for the progress we see today,” he said.

CPI leader K. Ramakrishna highlighted the role of the forum in bringing together leaders from diverse political ideologies to work for common societal goals. Mandali Buddha Prasad and Gadde Rammohan Rao echoed similar sentiments, stressing the importance of preserving cultural traditions while pursuing development.

The program concluded with cultural performances, felicitations of eminent personalities, and discussions on strategies to further societal welfare. The Atmeya Kalayika event has become a much-anticipated annual tradition, celebrating unity and progress during the festive season of Sankranti.
